I am thinking about getting a playbook and was wondering does the default message app for email support receiving and sending email in plain text without switching from other format like my blackberry tour does?
I had a Tour and know what you mean about emails. If you are using the native email app on the PlayBook, emails look a lot better. I haven't had any issues with emails in the native email app.
I now have a Bold (retired the Tour) and with Bridge, emails look a little better. The nice thing is being able to view bridged emails on the larger screen, and be able to reply directly without taking the BB out of its holster.
