Default on-board keyboard.
I have noticed that sometime the on-board keyboard come on screen with the line of numbers on the top line, and sometimes you get the key at the bottom left to bring the numerical keyboard up. I have had a look at the options for the keyboard settings and cannot find anywhere where you can bring the number line up as default. Any ideas?

Hi, Malcolm. As I understand it, the operating system makes several keyboard layouts available to programmers. So, the keyboard you see on your PB depends on which keyboard the programmer chose to use. I'm happy the programmers have multiple keyboards to choose from, but it's a bit frustrating for us end-users.

To the best of my knowledge, the numbers only come up when you place the cursor in a password box, and only in a relatively few apps.

Thanks for the replies. I had noticed that it seemed to only happen when inputting passwords as shown in my screen dumps.
