It allows you to 'sideload' application/BAR files into the PB.

Sideload, essentially means, to install apps into the PB without appworld.

Not on the PlayBook. Technically you are only supposed to install apps from App World. But now we know how to side load them with this great app.

Can you post instruction in English? and also some download location that doesn't require registration in Vietnamese would be great.

Is there any danger to side-loading apps at this point? I'd be worried an uncertified app would break something that RIM will then refuse to fix. Hopefully they give it their blessing and we start to see some good Apps outside of App World, like we have for our BlackBerries.

its akin to a jailbroken Iphone or ipad , as long as there is no infringment on the OS and owners of the apps , there is nothing illegal about it. and the fact that you can simply wipe and restore it to original RIM OS and apps there no way for it to be tracked.

rim wont really apprive of sideloading apps since they havent gone through their own approval process. with that in mind apps can be dangerouse by opening you to security wholes but honestly i've never experienced issues on my torch or my playbook and i've sideloaded quite a bit of apps onto the playbook successfully.

It's safe Don't worry. This is the only way so far to let developers testing their applications on the real device before submitting those onto App World. This way is legal .
