    Default Constant Crashing answer Super Slow Everything...What's Wrong?

    I have had trouble with searching for anything with PB since day of purchase. I have high speed Internet and never a problem with my other devices. Also, not since 1997 have I seen a computing device so slow.*In fact, this is my either time trying to post this message.
    I'm by no means a computer guru, all I do is search and email. Also, I never have more than one screen open; therefore, it couldn't be bogged down. If I try opening a second screen, immediate crash. I've sent numerous messages to customer service without reply.
    Please tell me if there is something I can do to help this device go beyond snail.*

    Do a security wipe on your playbook and start fresh. You will LOSE all DATA when you do this. Sounds like something got corrupted in the os.

    Before you do a security wipe, try:
    1. A soft reset
    2. A hard reset
    3. Debrick

    All these fixes are found in the stickies at the top of the playbook forum.

    Your problem is with your router settings. Even though all other devices work without a problem does not mean the PlayBook will. You can raise the security level on your router, all other devices will still work fine. Set your router to WPA2 and use data encryption AES/PSK. Also do a reboot on your router every couple of weeks. Sometimes settings change for whatever reason and the reboot will fix that. Reboot by shutting off the power fir a minute and then restart.

    Because it is crashing when you open a second screen and I assume you mean another app it looks like it is more than the browser. But you could try another browser from the app world such as Simple Browser or Maxthon or Dolphin with the last two being Android ports. Also when in the stock browser you can swipe down from the top and go into the settings and clear caches and disable flash as well as change other settings. You also might check your internet speed using speedtest.net. If the speed is greatly different from what you get from the same source on your computer there may be some router adjustment needed. And of course you can use the gear to find out other details as to how your wi-fi is working.
