I've been checking all the posts and people are freaking out over Bridge and we haven't even got OS 2 yet. Bridge alone is an amazing leap. Wasn't the wait worth it? I honestly believe this IS a game changer. And all we were looking for was a remote LOL.
what is this 'new' bridge thing you guys are talking about? can someone give me a link?
It's an update of bridge, the app that makes your phone interact with your PB.
You can get it from AppWorld on your phone, should be listed within "updates" section.
Once you get it, you can use your phone as a remote ...
Bonus is that it also allow to control many other devices such as an android tablet, a PS3 or even a W7 desktop.

This is suuuchh a game changer... I mean we had used our phones for everything but as a remote..
And our phones would make the perfect remote!! GOOD JOB RIM..
Now we need some "good looking" os 10 phones for the looks crazy consumers, and these amazing features for our others consumers esp business type and we can see RIM shares going back up soon enough.
I wonder if this technology is patented though?? I mean it'd suck if Iphone came out with this or android devices.
"Always ask yourself if the juice is worth the squeeze" I sure do think that it was worth it. what i liked with our situation (early adopter) even though we got a lot of empty promises from RIM at least they left us with a product that doesnt lag and does what it can do really well.
sent from my playbook approximately 15 mins from update time.
i once saw a sony ericsson control my laptop its amazing how this wasnt as comented and im not complaining or anything is just that its not new just newly implemented
