Wow, that's awesome news from a corporate usage perspective. Anyone use citrix for personal activities?

Isn't it amusing how people who claim to not enjoy CB at all simply can't stay away???? It's because it's CRACKBERRY, the BEST BB site....

Awsome news looking forward to using this now. Now I won't have to take my laptop to the lake. Hopefully a bluetooth keyboard and mouse will be compatiable with it to.

Oh SNAP! Looking forward to getting this beast. Not liking the locked to BES thing though I'm wanting to set up my Windows Vista PC to run BESX but I can't have it on all the time.

You do realize you need exchange or lotus domino installed also correct? Plus a slew of other requirements. You can't just put one on a home machine.

I just wish Microsoft would do a free version for say up to 5 clients. I could then whack on both my smartphones (when I have them) up to the central BESX server. I did try to install Exchange on my PC. Not tried Lotus Domino though.

I'm going to guess you are not in IT or you are trying to be really cheap. I wouldn't recommend lotus domino to anyone. You could build a beefy box and put esx on it if you have the know how. I currently have a 2008 domain controller, exchange 2010 and BESX 5.0.2. I install BES for a living and it is challenging and fun. Good luck!

I don't think we've got any old boxes left in our house. I have built a box before though, but that was nearly 6 years ago. As a reward, I was allowed to keep the box. We've got rid of it now. But perhaps I could buy the parts from CCL or someone like that and build it up myself. Mum could help. Also, I'm kinda in IT, just in a media sense. I'm a Digital Media student.

I don't think you're going to want to spend the money for Win08R2,Exchange and hardware just to run BESX.

He could run it on a virtual machine if he has enough power on top of his PC. But I agree with you.

Yeah we just set up a VMware server at work, it's mainly for diaster recovery if something happens at our Corp office where all the main Web servers and other services are,. Rolled over all but one server to Win2008, the last server will be the one Exchange is on and it will run 2010.
    Fun times LOL

I guess places online do BES hosting. That would be a better option than running a setup at home and setting up firewalls
