Iv'e been looking at where to get the playbook in Canada for less than retail. The company I work for has a discount at Staples but even they aren't sell it for less.

Yah that went down fast! They have another posting online for $589.99 so you save $11 but have to pay for shipping. Not bad if you live near one of their stores, they even show stock online. I was able to do this at the Milton Superstore location. I got the 32 GB version for $599 no tax. The no tax sale is only Apr29/30. They actually didn't have the 32 in stock (only the 16+64), but they were able to do a stock transfer with wireless wave down the street so I paid at the kiosk then drove down the street and picked it up at wireless wave. Perfect out of the box, none of the problems described on this board, no dead pixles, bridge worked perfect etc..
When I bought the Playbook and charging cradle at Best Buy the guy gave me 25$ off the cradle. Said it was the best he could do for me since the price on the playbook was firm. I just said to him I could buy the thing at 5 different places and why should I buy it there and what some other people were offering. It was better than I was expecting from Best Buy. I didn't think they would budge on anything. The guy did well in my books.
