    So, I"m trying to stream the Panam Games on my Pb from the cbc website but it just won't play. Tapping the play button doesn't do anything. Javascript and flash are enabled. Block pop ups disabled.
    Tried both origami and the default browser witn no luck. Any ideas?

    My big problem with the PlayBook browser was that for most sites the Flash Player is too old...

    Try Origami. CBC archived shows worked fine on that. Perhaps the live stream doesn't like the PB user agent.

    with Origami, you can change the User Agent to, say, looking like a Nexus 7, or ipad. Will that help?.

    incidentally, Using Origami and Nexus 7 user agent, try tune movie. Awesome.....ur ipad bjddies will be astonished.

    Dunno if that'll help, but it's worth a try. Hit or miss with that stuff, but every now and then you get something to work -- treat it as a bonus.

    What tablet did u get?
    We should sue class action for BBnot at least updating Playbook . Ok we understand no bb10.......not enough horse power.
    But we were promised it would be maintained....... This discourages me from buying anyBB product.

    Doubt that any lawsuit would get anywhere. People were talking about one surrounding BB10 as that was essentially promised and redacted. Anyhow, about the TV stations in Canada, I've found that the archive shows use an older version of flash (maybe the latest have changed), while the live stream uses something not supported by the PB. Mine's slowly being relegated to video/audio player and ebook. Phone is smaller screen, but much better browsing.

    It still works with a lot of live streaming TV stations.
    My Pllaybook worked fine this weekend streaming the rogers cup tennis final live on CBC.
    You have to make sure that you have a good wi-fi connection.
