    Default Car charger -- does this work?

    Search for PlayBook stuff on DealExtreme website brought this up ... for $3.70!

    Too good to be true, right?

    Note that the copy doesn't mention PlayBook at all. Can PlayBook be charged through the USB port?

    I have a similar one. You may need a charge only cable to get it to charge at the full current. If you are in the USA, AT&T sells the charge only cables for BlackBerry phones and they will work with the PlayBook.

    i have a blackberry micro usb car charger for my 9300 and it charges the playbook fine. slowly, but fine.
