I've done a security wipe to get rid of the sample pictures,updated OS,but,can't set up my email account.

It was working fine before the wipe,but now I enter username and password and get the message 'check username and password and try again'
I can access my emails through webmail with the same sign in details,so why won't it set up now?

Any help appreciated!

What kind of email are trying to set up? Outlook exchange server etc

Just tried again using the advanced set up and it worked!
Can anyone tell me how I can check for messages once my email is open,I don't see a send/receive button or anything similar?

I think you kind of TAP the left column area or the curving arrow. You can see individual accounts or All accounts but tapping the @-filefolder icon.
