I just downloaded on my playbook the updated os 2.1.0.1526 and now I can't download any apps. I had no problem before the update. The different apps (free apps) are asking for access to the internet, files and device identifying information. Whether you accept or decline it doesn't install the app. I tried taking off the wifi connection and reconnecting, changing my dates, and doing a hard reboot. Nothing seems to be working. Can anyone help me??

I had a weird issue before where I couldn't install apps. Open up Blackberry World and click on My World. At the top left, you'll see "Refresh List". Click on that...might see some logging in or something. Somehow this helps resync the playbook with the BBWorld servers. After I did this, everything worked again.

Also, you might want to go to the BBID website on a computer and refresh or check your settings (don't have the link at hand)

I went to my settings, then security, then application permission, and clicked on some of the apps to see their settings were. Played with the content settings and then my Blackberry ID popped down to sign in and then an "Authorization" came up and then it worked. I was able to reinstall my apps and everything works fine now. Don't know what happened but was really happy when it started to work again. Thanks for all the help.

Even if it's a Snake emulator that wants your GPS location...
