Can't seem to delete downloaded wallpapers that were in zip format. There is about 20 of the same design. I tried deleting them through the file manager as well as the picture folder, I receive a message that says, it's unable to delete file. Also restarted pb with volume buttons +/- power button combo, nothing seems to work. Any ideas??

In file manager do you get the "unable to delete " when you tap the trash can next to the file?

Yes I do, and in the picture folder I don't get a message, but it does not delete either.

Try the download folder since you downloaded them. Or did you move them?

Try downloading Air Browser and see if you can delete with that program, or connect to your pc and delete from there.

This may sound stupid... However, this happened to me once... A reboot resolved my issue...

Have you tried deleting the files from your computer... ie: plug your playbook into your computer via USB. You should now be able to browse your Playbook files using your computer. Can you then successfully delete those files?

I suppose playbook os may make a copy of the current wallpaper. You may want to try this.
Set a new wallpaper to replace the one you want to delete.
Use air browser to delete the file.
You are not supposed to be able to set it back now.

I am able to change the wallpaper, as for connecting to the computer, won't work because it asks for a password, I tried every password I use and none worked, have not been able to connect pb with pc.

Have you tried the wifi option? http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...wi-fi-661022//

Also the password should be the one you set for file sharing on the PB or for your home network.

"an error occured when trying to delete "\\playbook_media\downloads\cal20122.jpg
access to a file or folder has been denied"

anyone know how to get these pics off my PB?

They are in the sdcard folder I would guess. I think Android browsers put them there and this is why it takes an Android file manager to get to them.

You need a file manager that will browse to the sdcard folder.

    Like this:

Use free file manager. Free Free File Manager - Download Free File Manager - Free Apps from BlackBerry App World

Hit the back arrow until you get to just /

    Browese to: /sdcard

There are two download folders there. On mine the second one is where they hide at. Hold your finger on the file then select delete.
