I just got my playbook back fresh and seemingly working again.
Battery is charging, front camera works, dead pixels gone?

Now I can't back-up or restore anything.

It took a while but I was able to use DDPB and USB transfers to get data back.
But if I'm never able to back-up this is going to be very frustrating.

Tried to follow a few other steps from other Back-up issues. Doesn't seem like anyone has ever had both though.

Any ideas?

What version of Desktop Manager do you have?

Have you tried Partial or custom or whatever a non-complete backup is called?

We're you on the beta? I don't think dm backups or restores beta OS things but I could be wrong.

2.0.1.358 I think was on both, whatever the latest was, was installed.
I dont have a number for DM but I had just updated it this month as well.

Many many backups of every combination were tried... But it cant even get to that stage it seems. It wont load even the descriptions of any of the backup files, let alone attempt to restore.

Not sure what youre aiming for there, but i have that and read it,.doesnt seem to go beyond the basics unless i missed something.
