Default can we use the opera browser on the playbook?

was wondering are there any alternate browser available for the playbook yet???

There's Simplebrowser and Securebrowser, but I think they're just adding features to the existing web browsing abilities. I haven't yet seen a browser which is completely different from the default in terms of loading the webpages.

Dolphin HD is available in the App World. But it won't run until the official OS 2.0 update is out.

I think you need to be on the 2.0 beta for the android app results to show up.

I'm pretty sure opera will arrive at some point through the android app player. That way, RIM can sandbox all the android stuff, but users still get options. Handster was purchased by Opera last year, and they are the ones who are populating App World with a ton of Android apps (more crappy apps than good ones though...)
