When playing need for speed i have to hold my playbook a few degrees to the right to keep the car straight, its quite annoying and awkward, is there nay way to calibrate the sensor like on android?

I don't think there is any way to do that. Try one of those free level apps in app world and sees what it's reporting.
Maybe you just need a V8. You could just lean to the left a little too.

Maybe dingleberry can get us into the "escreen" that can be accessed on BBs.

    You could try a reboot:

Press and HOLD all three keys for about 10 - 20 seconds: PowerOn, VolUp and VolDown

If it really is an error/problem you might give rim a call

According to the rigid level app my accelerometer is off to the right approx. 2.6 degrees, which is about 1/2 inch over the length of the playbook.

RIM mentioned to me as well that they need to delve deeper into the problem if this is indeed a problem and the 3rd party developer may need to be engaged if this is a problem.

I echo F2 suggestion to the OP to call RIM to fully describe the specific issue, at which point of the game, the tilt occurs etc

Just measured mine in Horizontal and it was about 0.0 to 0.3 and it is inside an Otterbox which could account for oddities but it seems pretty much right on.

Edited to add: I wonder if it might be affected by falls, jarring, etc - obviously it has to be sensitive to movement and a sudden movement followed by impact could blow it away????

That Ridgid app is amazing! Can't believe it is free, can't believe they made one for the PB either.
And BTW mine is dead on.

I have the same problem. Moreover, as it's still covered by the warrantee I sent it for repair but blackberry support didn't find anything wrong with it.
    Anyone has any advice?
