Couldn't find this by searching.....here goes.

I have birthdays/anniversaries that are on my PB and they are defaulting to 4am one day to 4am the next. I cannot open the series and change the default times or change it to All Day Event.....the only thing to do is change the time to show as an appointment. Plus, there are no 1/2 hour slots. Anyone got this or a solution I am not seeing?

I've seen this before on the phone and I seem to recall it was related to the time zone settings. Perhaps someone can recall exactly...
