Is this a bug? No password required!
My PB has always had a password. And without the password, I would not have access to its contents.
It looks like I do not need it anymore after the Tablet OS update to 1.0.7.2492.
When the password screen shows up, I tapped Cancel; et voila! It let me in! - 08-24-2011, 01:18 PM

When you start up your PB, you see a screen asking for password if you have enabled password in Security.

BBWatch this happened to a few people before and yes it is a bug. If you do a hard restart or security wipe it will remove the cancel button from the password screen

After today's update, I was wondering why the welcome screen looked a little different than before, but did not figure out exactly how.
The difference should have been the Cancel button. I checked a few earlier screenshots and there was no Cancel button! - 10-30-2011, 09:27 PM #13
This is still a bug; just happened to me tonight and i am on 1.0.7.3312. Hit "Cancel" and the screen only had the background. Swiped up from the bezel and could access everything. The bar at the top with clock and all was not there. Anyone else seeing this problem on recent builds?
