Browser issue
Having a weird issue..when I try doing a Google search a popup comes up saying "file name" and wants me to type in a file name. Kind of annoying. Tried searching the forum for a similar issue but couldn't find anything. I'm on os2 and I tried a reset already.
Any help would be great! - 03-08-2012, 09:26 PM #2
How where you thing to search? Through the address window of the browser or on the Google Web site?
I hope this helps. - 03-08-2012, 09:27 PM #3
I actually had the same issue and created a thread. Search 'googlle search problem' in this forum. There is nothing you can do about it.
But you can use the address bar to search google. Just enter the words you want in the address bar, and voila. So you'll be bypassing the initial google page altogether.
I think it's related to animations that google puts on their search page from time to time. - 03-08-2012, 09:29 PM #4
Try rebooting the PlayBook. I have seen that sometimes when clicking on a link in the Browser. Either closing and opening the browser or a reboot fixes it. I haven't seen it in a while and can't remember exactly what I do to fix it.

Yes there is a huge difference and yahoo is old news but who cares its a search engine they all do basically the same thing.
