Hi,

I just bought the 64gb version of the playbook. How do I adjust the screen brightness levels. It seems to be stuck at 50%. Also the notification light next to the front camera is on constantly (no blinking, just ON). Is this by default?? The battery drained out fast too even though on standby mode. Any help in resolving these queries will be greatly appreciated.

If this is indeed a new-to-you unit (used), my suggestion would be to wipe the thing and start with a fresh install of the OS. Will probably get rid of a number of your issues. Never had to do it myself, and maybe someone else will chime in, but that would definitely be my first thing to do after picking up a used Playbook. If this is a NEW Playbook, then I would take it back to the retailer and get it exchanged for another unit.
