I've never had that happen on the PB but have you tried going to the set-up page and re-installing it?

    Good luck.

Disappeared from playbook? What do you mean? Did the icon disappear from your phone or does your PB just not bridge to your phone?

I would also suggest UNpairing and RE-pairing the bridge. Next, UNinstall and Reinstall bridge on the phone.

This happened to me when I updated my PB to the OS2 the icon just disapeared. I just swiped my PB and started over and paired it back up with my BB9900 and the icon was back no problems since then.

My icons disappeared twice yesterday. That had not happened for a long time and never with OS 2. Anyway, a restart solves it, but strange.

I have had the icons in the bridge folder on the playbook disappear a few times on 2.0 but never the whole thing. A restart solved it each time but it is annoying.

All my bridge-related icons disappear occasionally. Well, they don't really disappear---more like they all don cloaks of invisibility---as their names and even their shadows stay put. I figure they're just out having some fun.

I've had the bridge icons disappear a couple of times since updating to 2.0 but figure that it's a suggestion that my PB needs restarting. They always come back.

Lost my bridge on the PB... deleted the pairing...and then restored the pairing... it still didn't reappear. Then I went into setup and re-established the bridge to the 9810. Bridge is back. I recalled that during some point yesterday, during some updates to the 9810, I had been prompted to change the name of my phone to something more secure. I didn't realize it at the time, but that was what caused the bridge to disappear on the PB. Presumably that is a RIM security feature if the unique phone that had the bridge connection no longer exists, the bridge disappears. It must be two pieces of phone data that combine to create that break... the name of the phone and a unique ID value of some sort. When that data connection changes... there goes the bridge. Hope that helps someone who is puzzled when their bridge disappears (like I was)! Just delete the bluetooth connections and rebuild the bluetooth and bridge pairings from there.

Never happened on my PB but I lost my Bridge icon on my 9930 after my update this weekend. It was in my application listing, but no icon anywhere. I hooked up to DM, deleted it from device applications and reloaded it from AppWorld. No problems since.

Delete BBBridge from handset. Also Unpair devices. Simply reinstall BBB, Pair devices again. Follow Bridge setup as before. This method worked BB Bridge restored no problem little annoying but if you follow the advice here it DOES fix the issue, thanks !! Love my PB!!
