So I installed Blackberry Bridge on my work 9700 paired my Playbook to it... and the bridge browser has reappeared!

Is this because OS5 has an older version? If so, I thought bridge browser was a feature removed as of PBOS2.0?

Are you on a corporate BES? If you have BES, the Bridge browser is to specifically use the corporate network and intranet.

BIS users lost it with the bridge app version 2.X. I would like to have the bridge browser back. I used it often to stream sirius while using the other browser to surf.
I am still using an old version of the bridge app with a 9700 we don't use to get the bridge browser. I tried to move and replace COD's to get remote functions and bridge browser without success.
For now I switch bridge between a 9700 and 9900 depending on how I'm using the PB.
If anyone has the skills to combine remote functions and bridge browser, I'm listening.

You could always use another browser like simple, dolphin, maxthon. Or you could use the. Crackberry app to open two separate browser panes. Yes this is possible

OS6 on the 9700. You can go to rroyy.com and get any previous bridge version. Any of the 1's have the bridge browser.

I like the native browser. Elaborate on the two panes please. Not multiple tabs but seperate instances of the browser?
