The dedicated bridge browser was dropped some time ago. The bridge uses the main browser. I liked having the two available.

There is no bridge browser. It runs through original browser.

Doesn't BES still use two separate browsers?

There is a way to sideload a duplicate browser. I don't know the details but maybe someone will explain.
You can load other browsers too.
Could always go to rroyy.com and load an old version of bridge. You will lose SMS and remote for bridge though.

    .
The duplicate browser is called Air Browser, which someone extracted from the BB10 dev alpha and which is essentially the same as the native browser. I run both browsers- one with flash and java disabled and the other with them enabled.

The Air Browser name lead me to this thread:
Two RIM Browsers on your PlayBook

I don't know what to do with the zip file though.

But be forewarned, once installed it's treated as a system app and can't be uninstalled.
