For those who installed it, is there a new, uhm, "feature" within the app itself? Youll know what it is if it's there.
Why would you say that and not say what it is?

Alt-RST doesn't change Bridge on my 9780. The 1.0.0.93 version stays installed.

Can somebody please let us poor AT&T people know if the bridge is crippled for us or not?

upgraded to 1.0.4.9 the way that everybody has been getting it. It tells you re install even though you already have the application and then it prompts you to overwrite it.

so i guess that would be the good news, that it is in fact there.

The bad news is that nothing has changed. I have tested it out with my playbook and nothing seems to have changed. Please note that i do not have the newest playbook os (1.0.7...) that some people say they already have (not sure if it's true)

thanks for testing, but i think if you have a tethering plan you can use the appworld app without a problem.

If you are using Chrome, you can goto this site, and search for Bridge https://appworld.blackberry.com/webs...oad/?i=1772633

It will ask you to download an App World Installer, and then you connect your Blackberry to your computer and you are good to go.

I'm on Rogers and downloaded the new version. It didn't say anything about 1.0.4.9 until i pressed 'reinstall', and it asked to overwrite with the new version.

Up until now i've had to download it OTA, my Torch is AT&T branded but unlocked. I've always had trouble downloading the bridge app on Rogers.

When I check in the applications list, it still lists both versions. Can't tell if it's supposed to work like that because the PB OS update isn't out yet or if I should manually delete the old version...
