Box Upgrade Now Working!

Just tried Downloading the Box upgrade and it worked. Prior to this I was getting the installation error as others have reported. Awesome to have 50 gigs of Box storage for my 16 Gb playbook.

Yes, it's similar to dropbox or even bluebox - but this new upgrade to 50gb free is awesome!

Installed 3.0 this morning. The installation went fine. However, it corrupted some bridge file and now the Playbook won't connect to my Blackberry Bold. So, now I'm doing a restore in hopes of getting the thing working again.

I'm starting to feel like I'm working with a Microsoft Windows machine

An hour later....

The restore worked and all is well. Back to version 1.1 again.

Do I have to do anything to get the free 50 gigs. I upgraded to the new version but still only have 2 gigs

Maybe a remove the pairing and repairing might have worked?

50 gigs of free storage, with a cap of a max single file size of 100 mb. That's a direct attack vs. competitors like Dropbox and SugarSync! Will be interesting to see their response...

50gbs from Sugarsync would be awesome! However, I did happen to get in on the box.net upgrade with my Touchpad early so I ended up with 50gb and a 1gb limit on file upload instead of 100mb... which is awesome because now I can covert my collection of mp4 movies into flvs and stream directly from the box.net website
