Had my PB six weeks and my daughter managed to mangle the power connector. When I tried to return it Curry's said that RIM are refusing to pick up returns from store and I would have to deal with them directly myself. Talk about alarm bells ringing.
To cut a long story short I managed to exchange the PB for an Ipad and am so so glad i did as despite all the hipe on these forums the Ipad is a far, far superior tablet, both hardwear and software.

    Goodbye Playbook and good ridence.....

I havent had any pb regrets since my purchase. I know a lot of people complain about lack of a million apps and games, but im a memory hoarder. I dont like too much bogging down my device. Im happy with the browser for surfing and love bridging to my bold 9930.

Now let me get this straight...your daughter mangled (another word for broke, busted, f...ed up) the power connector after 6 weeks. You then expect the store to return it for you?

My friend also managed to break his power connector as well. He called RIM. RMA sent out to him and returned brand new in four days. No charge.

Seems like there is another agenda at play here.

Oh and please post on the ipad forum when your daughter sits on your new one...lol

Had mine for a month now, bought one for the wife. Use mine almost exclusively for work and I still love it. Easy to carry, almost does everything I need.

Not perfect but what is? If I had an Android or Ipad I would also find some limitations. It's what works for you.

You are very correct. I do have to say though, the ultimate portable non android/soon to be a collector's item you just gave up will be on your wishlist again. Enjoy your iPad
