    3 updated her phone then took away free personal hotspot - when I try to pair it tells me device not compatible.

    does anyone have any ideas I can try?

    Bluetooth tethering only works between PB and another BBRY device. For all non Blackberry devices, you need the hotspot functionality unfortunately.

    Tethering also depends on your air time provider. Some don't allow it, some charge for it. Just turn on your mobile hotspot on your iPhone, setup the password, your pb will pick it up as a normal wifi connection and connect to the web that way. It's also far faster and more reliable than tethering.
