I experience almost the same thing on my 9800 but not the PB.
Sometimes if I turn it off it won't turn on until I pull the battery. Different device and OS but same problemo. That doesn't help you but just thought I would mention it. Wonder if it has anything to do with the bridge app?

On the topic of bluetooth. Has anyone had the an issue with their ear piece dropping in and out to the point of not being able to hold a conversation on your handheld. What about the issue of bridge over riding the available wifi on your playbook? I think somehow they may be directly related to the last bridge update although the wifi issue has always been there.
