Bluetooth keyboard app?
This may sound like a dumb question... but is there an APP that can turn the playbook into a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad for a PC? I am thinking about making a media centre PC and curious if my Playbook could be a bluetooth keyboard/trackpad.
Thanks! - 11-12-2012, 11:13 PM #2
Re: Bluetooth keyboard app?
I don't believe so. But if I recall, a bbphone with bridge can work (edited to add) as a mouse and keyboard with the computer.

Re: Bluetooth keyboard app?
There is a mouse app. It's actually a touchpad but no keypad/keyboard. Look up "touchpad" in app world. They will give you the link for the PC side software download. I think it was $0.99. Only a two star review. Good luck.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure. - 11-13-2012, 04:46 AM #5

Re: Bluetooth keyboard app?
I looked up Luko Remote looks very promising, however, my Media Center would be based on Linux... any knowledge of Luko Remote working with a linux based computer? There are no apps similar to Luko which use bluetooth?

Re: Bluetooth keyboard app?
Freemote, CompRemote, and All In One Remote all can work over wifi. All in One also has bluetooth capability. Whether any will work with Linux, I don't know.

Re: Bluetooth keyboard app?
I use CompRemote for just the purpose you stated. It works perfectly. But I have no idea about Linux, sorry.
