I wonder if anybody can help me. I stream music from my PlayBook to a Bluetooth speaker. Sometimes when doing this the audio is intermittent and very choppy making enjoyable listening almost nonexistent. I have sent my speaker off for repair under warranty for me to find the problem still exists. After troubleshooting different things on the phone with the manufacturer of my Bluetooth speaker we worked out that wifi + Bluetooth on the PlayBook caused interference. Does anyone else had the issue of wifi causing problems for Bluetooth or know a way to fix this?????

I have experienced 2.4 GHz WiFi interfering with my Bluetooth headset.
At the time I "Googled it" and found others experiencing the same issue.

The workaround was to configure my access point to only use the 5 GHz spectrum.

I noticed when I connected through the Bluetooth device to my speakers and had the WIFI on also it had a skipping interference static to it. As soon as I turned it off the problem went away. It seems as you cannot have both on at the same time. Is this normal?

Try changing the wifi channel on your router. Worth a shot.

I just bought a bluetooth AVR (Onkyo TX-NR626) and I can't get audio to stream from my PlayBook to it. It works fine with my android phone but zilch from my PlayBook. I can connect it to my car's bluetooth as well, but it isn't seen as an audio device. Is bluetooth an issue with PlayBooks?
