Question BlackBerry Tablet

Hi Y'all,

Does anyone know if and when RIM will be coming out with a BlackBerry tablet type of device to compete with the Apple iPad? Would really like to hear any comments.

RIM is not into this market. The ipad is nothing more then a bigger itouch. In other words, its a piece of ****. Like really, why would anyone feel the need to have one. RIM wont be making a similar device

and here's another take on what may be developed from lilputing:

From what I have seen Rim is coming out with their own tablet but sadly it will only be half*** Unlike the IPad which has wireless access and many other features the BPad will have to connect to your phone to be able to access internet features. Atleast that is what I have read so far

Assuming this totally unconfirmed product also has wifi then being able to connect to your bb is actually a plus point since you already have one and you don't need to shell out an extra $130 and get a 2nd contract in order to get 3g access.
