Let's get a gauge of the sentiment here on Crackberry.
Update:
This poll was purposefully kept to 30 days. It shows that despite the amount of whining place on the forum during that window in time, the nascent PB was overwhelmingly given a passing grade on this site. It appears that a poll presently being conducted since at least one (maybe two) updates has increased the "pass" rate by a significant margin to say the least.

Portable is what a tablet should be. I use it daily and my wife loves hers. Our son loves to play with it as well.
The sound quality of the playbook is way better than iPad. Dual stereo speakers vs. single speaker on the bottom right? Get real!
Flash support is what takes it over the top. I love it and I love not having to pay 30-50 bucks a month for 3G. Why do that?
hardware is excellent apart from the power button, but software is not. somewhat similar to nokia E7 that i bought month ago (now sold at loss, as usual)..mercedes S-class body with a prius engine..
i bet playbook will be a good sell if it runs android. none of the current android tablet has good hardware - too plasticky.
Pass.. I use mine everyday and have received solid performance. This is a first for Blackberry. That is what people must remember. Once it all settles this will not be a question ever again.. I have faith that the Playbook will be what we all envisioned it would be initially.
for now its like 75% done and would fail me in the key areas.
75% on a hundred scale is a pass. Just barely a pass. As I once said during a commencement speech, "Some of you are graduating with honors and flags flying. Some of you are graduating. Some of you are passing by the skin of your teeth, and some of you don't have any skin left."
It's got potential, but could use more apps and developer support. Also, the internet tethering mode does not allow any other access accept the browser via my 9780.
It's pretty clear that getting it to market was a rush job. FAIL until like Shake said, they get it to a comparable level to other tablets.
Pass because of it's hardware however its horrible lacking of apps and promised features is disturbing.
The playbook was my first non PC tablet and I Wasn't sure if I'd like the tablet format better then a netbook however i realized it is awesome.
I've came to the conclusion that the playbook maybe a good tablet and im keeping it for my coffee table and a secondary tablet but it doesnt suit my needs. I beed a tablet that runs on windows I prefer programs not cheesy appz.
