Side loading should only be key for devs. Regular users should be fine without it. Plus ill take the 8000+ bug fixes any day.

The size all depends on the store apps that are loaded. Some stores are USA limited, although most of us in Canada can access it.
Oh, and I, too, am waiting to hear whether it removes sideloading...
