All we have heard is there was a playbook that went thru fcc approval and speculation it has a 4g radio, a little faster processor and can't remember the rest. But proof? I haven't seen any.
They have stated a new PlayBook is coming but only a few differences have been mentioned. Personally I need more with PB2 than 4g because I paid retail for my 64gig device. I might feel differently if I had this device for a few months and paid $199.
Early adopters have had several more months of enjoyment and use of their playbooks than those who paid $199, but yes RIM will need to add more than 4g cellular connections to sell playbooks to most existing owners no matter how much they paid or how long they have had them unless they are somehow dirt cheap and we know that ain't happening, so they will have to step up the specs and add some features to sell many more units.
i was thinking about getting the playbook 16gig but i need to know if in your guys opinion is it really worth getting. i have the bold 9930 and want to use the bridge cause i think using the bold as a remote is pretty cool, also the are starting to use android apps or at least trying to. but let me know what you guys think thanks!

IMHO, yes it's worth getting. 32gb should be the minimum you go for as the 16gb will get filled up sooner than you think..

The 16GB PB isn't worth it. It's just too small memory-wise. There is actually only 11.9GB of user memory available. If you limit the apps you install and keep music and videos out of the equation, a 16GB might be okay. But if you want to use it for everything, get a 64GB.
Two RIMM points
1) the 16's are in clearance. 32 and 64's will be sold in the future
For a nominal increase in manufacturing cost, RIMM decided to go for 32's as the entry PB.
2) 4g PB is ready to roll out. The current beta DM already supports it.
Perhaps it will come out around the end of the current year, about the time of BB10 phone roll out
To come out with the BB10 phone and 4g PB at the same time saves RIMM marketing cost.
