I'm a huge movie fan and last night I watched Haywire I am was really impressed by the fact that all the phones in the movie were BlackBerry's. Usually these days there are so many little product placements, like most people in movies use Mac computers & drink Pepsi. But, you don't usually see too many BlackBerry's anymore.

A few years ago you had them in all the movies. Good to see that it was there. Now, if they start using PlayBooks in them, maybe people will start to notice them more!

There are lots of Movies and Shows in which people use BlackBerries
How I met your Mother, Modern Family, Gossip girl, and all those shows teenagers watch. (Well How I met your Mother also has some iPhones but the BlackBerries can really be noticed ;p )

Haywire was five stars, watched it on Tues. Someone grab a still of the PB and post the photo. I love Soderbergh flicks, and this one was awesome. Also love the David Holmes soundtrack.

Okay as much as I appreciate BB's history and corporate security focus... Off the shelf BB's in a spy movie? I hope BB can become relevant again one day but that was just plain funny to see.

LOL They are still very relevant. I don't know where you live or what you're exposed to, but the BB phone is still considered the most secure phone in the world. Thats why our President carries one.

I have been to recurrent training twice in the past eight months to two different companies that manufacture civilian and military products, the military part being weapons platforms. Once past the gate, turning in all electronic devices, pass through the scanner and metal detectors and accompanied by an escort, guess what is the only phone brand I have ever seen in these security sensitive facilities? Well I'll be darn! They're all BlackBerries
