When I connect my PlayBook to my desktop its says my PlayBook software version is 0.00 and wants me to update to the latest. After I do the update and the PlayBook reboots it still says I am at software version 0.00 and wants me to update. I am running the latest software version. Please help.

I had a 16GB and gave it to my wife when I got my 64GB. Wiped the 16 and installed update 2.0.1.358 and now it says it needs update when you plug it in. I plugged it in to do a backup for her new 32GB.

I just got her new 32GB from UPS.

The file C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Desktop\Devices\our-pin\DeviceCache.xml on the 16 says:

So it thinks it has 1.0.0.0????? About in setting shows 2.0.1.358.

Any ideas?
