Haha, you may be right too, RIM has not been top shelf with respect to keeping secrets, so a huge PB update out of the blue is pretty hard to beleive, since they seem to have leaked so much about the phones already.

Chillax all, the release date is January 30th. It may be that here, but not where the servers are.

You all realize that someone at RIM created an update that does absolutely nothing and has no purpose in life other than to cause people on Crackberry to lose their mind in speculation while the creator sits back and dies of laughter right

You can install it through your PC.
    Steps;
Go to the appworld link (on your pc)
Click; Download (you now have to login)
The Blackberry Internet Plugin will download. After that is done return to the other page.

You'll see 'Connect your Device and click Begin Sync with Blackberry'

Thats the way to get it if an app is not OTA (via appworld) available yet.

That is normally all find and dandy except when you try it, you get an "Internal Server Error" after you sign in with your BBID. My guess is that we will all be able to download this precious new gem tomorrow without any problems.

Bridge is not a separate app for the PB it's in the OS and comes in an update. Have you ever had to download a bridge app to your PB? I haven't it's for the phones and seems to be for the BB10 phones that will be unveiled today and the dev phones.

Guys, please, be more realistic. I think RIM was focused to give us good OS for phones in first time, and for PB in future. If BB10 will have bugs on PB(we all know, that is will be true for first time) it will be very bad for sale new devices with that OS. Maybe we will have beta BB10 on PB today, but not release, IMHO.
P.S. Of course, i want hope that RIM give us perfect OS for our PB today =)
    P.P.S. Sorry for my english.

Heck I figure as I've heard BB10 for the PB may be a month or two away yet but getting it sooner would be a bonus. If it doesn't happen today or tomorrow I won't be disappointed as it was never promised or even said to be by anyone at RIM.

    no update

And today was the bb10 release. Heh, okay.

    RIM: business as usual.

Yea i think the "tuesday only releases" is an urban legend. Be kinda odd to aim at only 1 day of the week for releases.

Soooo I'm thinking they pulled this update? Still not showing up here and no OTA's yet. Looks like they may have released it a little early last night and then pulled it.

They didn't pull it. It's for BlackBerry10 phones only. Not legacy os. They need to fix appworld.

That's a low blow. Despite the announcement at Crackberry, until I see the "Blackberry Bridge" update available on my phone, RIM has promised nothing. Relax.

That sounds more like a coincidence than a method. I can't think of a single reason of why would a company adopt such a routine.

    Default Devices Supported

I notice when you hover over the "Supported Devices" tab, they are covering quite a few models.
Still cannot download. Getting the same server error as everyone else.
