So how about a Mifi/bluetooth device using compressed data ?

Build a bigger BB base where consumers can use whatever phone they want but playbook with calling capabilities via a BB bridge hub device?

i've been making the point for the playbook having *all* bridged phone capabilities for a while,,, THAT would make it THE tablet,,, slap a little BB10 on there along w/ it & you've got yourself one gourmet gadget...
