Okay, so i was on the pc looking around in AppWorld and noticed something interesting.
As you can see from my blurry pictures there is now a device called BlackBerry all touch sitting next to PlayBook and dev alpha. Whats even more interesting imo is if you look at the compatibility of apps it says "Compatible with "TABLET" OS 10.0.0 or Higher"

why are they calling it Tablet OS? And what s with this all touch device that popped into the filtering out of no were? Thoughts?

Probably one of the BB10 phones to be released without a physical keyboard.

Doesn't it just mean a tablet running 10.0.0 or higher?

Problem with that is ,as you can see from the above screenshot PlayBook is not included and with PlayBook being Rims only tablet it just seems odd.

...ah yes but the PlayBook is supposed to be updated to BB10 as well sometime after the BB10 phones are released.

ENVY ALERT! Since North America will be all but last to get the new phones expect travelers from South Africa and Indonesia to be sporting them when they come to visit.

I don't personally believe the playbook will get the full bb10.

I think the os will look the same as it does now but with the updated app selection and proper software.

I may be wrong but I just have a feeling.

I doubt that North America will be by-passed when BB10 is launched globally. You're joking aren't you? And by the way, there's nothing wrong for RIM to launch in those emerging markets that support it. Actually I like the idea of Indonesia, South Africa and the USA being on the same footing for the global launch. No reason to be envious; we're not going to miss out.

Hey alan510 that's the original battle plan...highest supporting markets get it first, which gives RIM a chance to clear up early issues and release updates before being released in their most antagonistic market the US. I still think there will be a lot of BB faithful that do a lot of traveling to those markets who will do anything to be the first to flash it around back here in North America, I know I would.

    ENVY ALERT still stands.

North America will not have to wait. Until I read it quoted from Thor's mouth I just can't believe that. With RIM trying to. Win back the hearts of North America, it would be foolish to make them wait.

Tablet OS is what we run right now know the PlayBook. That is probably an internal test device running the "Tablet OS 10.0": BlackBerry 10 for PlayBook beta maybe?
