I ordered one as well and it's going to be delivered on Monday. I'm pretty amazed at how fast they built and shipped it considering that even the official cases aren't available yet and that they are in Spain.

Look, I just meant to tell the community about the quality and availability of this case. I'm not just speculating on it, I've already owned their case for the ipad and it's of the highest quality you'll ever find. It's not a Journal or Stand, so if that's what you want look elsewhere. You cheap and immature posters can do what you will, but you only bring this forum down with your BS comments.

It's expensive because it's completely handmade with high quality materials. It's basically the Rolls Royce of cases.

Considering that I am paying $635 to get a tablet mostly for fun, I might consider paying this much to protect it with something as nice as this. I don't think I like that the camera appears to be exposed though. I wonder why they would do that?

I have to agree, I will pay pretty good money for a quality case. I am waiting on Vaja, which is more expensive, but I like the style more. Although they only have one Playbook case on the site right now, and it is hideous.

Lets think about all these Blackberry holsters, that look nice for 6 months and then start coming apart and look like crap, I am not sure the PB cases will be different. As the old saying goes....you get what you pay for.

Looks REALLY impressive - especially in the blue. But I fear the thickness will take it beyond my jacket pocket width. A few milimeters wider than my jacket pocket, and it might as well be an iPad, a netbook or a 17" laptop!

Might be cool when being packed away for travel in a briefcase or backpack but too expensive for a secondary, part-time case.

That's a lot easier to stomache. Still, most of the decent looking PB cases seem pretty steep to me. If this one is as durable as it is nice-looking I may be tempted. Sucks that they're projecting a 3-5 week ship time and will charge your CC in full when you place the order. I'm anxious to see what folks think of this once it comes out.

I would not spend this much on a case, but for those of you who criticize... Lots of people would easily spend $100+ on a leather wallet. In terms of materials and workmanship, this is no less. So I wouldn't call it a rip-off, simply one of those luxuries that is worth it for some who appreciate it, not so much for others.

SMH! I spent $160.00 on dinner Saturday!....Yeah I would spend $200.00 on a good quality, well put together, protective case for my $750.00 Playbook investment.
