I've noticed that when using bridge mode, if I get a BBM notification, even if I've read it, the icon remains in the top left corner of the screen, as if I haven't read it...
Anyone have any idea why that is?

It's been a known problem since the PB was released. Supposedly, it will be fixed in the future....typical RIM behavior, "wait for the update".
It's a known bug, sometimes you can get it to go away if you delete the conversation, BUT sometimes even THAT doesn't work. Notifications in general do not work right, BUT BBM notifications are the worst!
Its been a problem from the start. I find the most persistent notification in BBM via Bridge is often related to an update from a contact (picture, personal message, etc.) - hence nothing you can check/remove in the Bridge version, only on your handset. Once I go in and clear that in my phone, the PB notification usually goes away.
Irrespective, its annoying and needs to get fixed, which I expect will happen "one of these days".
