What happens if you try to load it to your phone from the app world website? Wonder if it will download the latest version that way without AT&T in the middle...

I have an ATT BB9700. I downloaded BBM 5.0.3.22 to my phone from the app world and downloaded BB Bridge 1.0.0.83 from an OTA link someone posted here. I rebooted my phone and voila!! BBM on my playbook working perfectly.

Now if I could just get a playbook OS upgrade that will stop my wifi hanging all the time I will be in hog heaven.

Go here on your pc:

BlackBerry App World - BlackBerry Messenger

Then click the download button and follow the prompts. You'll need to install the "Web Installer" app, but should be good to go after that. Plug it in over USB and let it load away!

Here's the link for bridge if that's the app you need:

if you dont see the new bbm in appworld, press and holt alt then press R, S, T.

this will reset appworld and you should see the new version.

Verizon is still showing 5.0.2 as the latest version also.

I log into the Appworld website and it still only shows 2.12 BBM. Tried alt r-s-t on my Bold and I still don't see 5.0.3.22.

Thanks, Tihor! I installed this on my Bold 9780 (OS 6.0.0.668) wouldn't install BBM 6.0.1.32.
