I've been trying to see if there is any evidence of BB Bridge being available for BB10. And, if so, will the BB10 bridge from the new devices connect to the current Playbook OS.I think I've seen various items refer to Bridge and a Playbook BB10 update, but I haven't seen any actual discussion on it, I just looked throught the 100 pics on todays BGR site and didn't see BB Bridge. I am hoping i just missed something obvious, but does anybody have better info on this? Thank you.

I actually saw a flash of something mentioning bb bridge on the dev alpha A, when i was testing-out the sharing functions via bbm.... Am very very sure its present on the os somewhere, just seems to have been held back by RIM on dev units (it seems).

Yes it is there!! I have seen the final hardware and the Dev Alpha B in the hands of a RIM employee and sure enough, the bridge is there AND it was active!!

Yup, I've seen it in action, and it works just fine. It's just the Bluetooth protocols, hence why you can connect your phone to certain things and remote control things. From what I was being told, is there are some other bridge features that will become active once the PB gets BB10

This is good news as I was wondering the same thing. I use BRIDGE on a day to day and didn't want to lose that feature with a new BB10.

I hear that BB10 won't come with an uncapped BIS data plan . This news sucks for people in the third world, where data charges are exorbitant.
