when you were out with your PlayBook today, you've just gone to turn in for the night and its not where it lives. it's not in the car and you're laying in bed trying to rack your brain for the last point in the day you are sure you had it.

Surely i didn't leave it at the coffee shop?

    no?

then where is it? why don't they have bloody blackberry protect for it yet??!!

So. Based on your sig, You had a 9000 stolen, a 16GB PlayBook stolen, and now, your "new" PlayBook was stolen...or lost? If so, that's some serious bad karma.

You're telling me. Bold got the window knocked out of my car. My fault for parking in a dodgy neighborhood?

PB got stolen off my desk when I left a shady character in there to go fetch a product from stock he'd requested to see.

Could easily be both blamed on stupidity on my part?

if it turns out I left my new PB @ Star Bucks then the answer is simply - i'm not fit to have nice things!

I bet as much of hit as blackberry protect is, they will make one fir the playbook but probably not until the radio enabled ones are out. I say this without proof, but given all the babbling and murmuring about the bridge causing issues with bbm... Maybe it wouldnt be practical for bb protect.

Since they are still working on the APIs for developers, and working on BB10, I would think BlackBerry Protect will be something that is worked on after BB10 is released. It makes sense for RIM to have it available for BB10 devices. Once the PlayBook has BB10, hopefully it will be included as well.

Sorry to hear of your repeated misfortune.

With your lost or stolen Playbooks.... Were they password protected and have you made a call to RIM and asked them to blacklist your pin numbers?

Hi Tod, don't listen to these guys, you are supporting RIM more than most by keeping buying more products.

Great - proving once again that the human mind is a remarkable computer in itself. Now put the mind in Standby for a few hours.

That's all fine, but when is the new update for my mind coming?

Glad you found it. Ever considered handcuffing it to your wrist? I'd have to go to grief counseling if I lost mine.

Does google maps work in your upgrade? I read iOS is struggling with that one.
