So I upgrade to 2.0 on the PB. I like it alot. Decided to try and upgrade the bridge, but I am still having the same 907 cod errors. Can't load bridge 2, ver1.074 or ver1.075 from rroyy. I can load 2.0 from app world fine, but given the att desire to charge for it, I am back to rroyy. I have cleared app world and done the battery pull and have successfully reinstalled 1.065 from rroyy just fine. I still maintain that there is something that changed from 1.074 bridge forward that affects downloading the bridge. I have a 9700 bold on AT&T through a corporate account.
I prefer bridge and can't get the native to work with our corporate firewall. Anyone else get 907 cod errors when trying to get later versions of bridge?
so you get at least one response... Nope. I'm using RROYY's v2 and works smoothly. I had an issue until he posted the one specific to OS7.1, so the only advice I can give is make sure you're using the one for your OS.
Thanks. I have 6.0 on the phone, so I know I am using the right version. Emails show up, but can't see the text sometimes, so I want to upgrade to ver 2
if you want to remove the viersion you have via app world and reboot then re-install that may work. If not I would suggest using RR_yy's version...it is excellent..and it is the latest version 2.0.0.25.
I had similar trouble with my 9800 torch. I kept getting the 907 error. I completely delected the version of Bridge on my phone, then installed rroyy's OTA for OS 6 on my torch. Worked the first time.
Bumping the thread up. Doesn't make sense to me that I can download 1.065 ver 6 from Rroyy and can't download 1.074, 1.075, 2,00. I have deleted the old versions, cleared browser history, and done the battery pull each time. Tried both reg browser and opera mini.
I would stick with 1.065, but I am having the email preview issue mentioned in other threads also. ugh
I can download ver 5 of 2.0025 from rroyy so my browser can handle the file size. Still can't figure out why i get 907 errors when downloading the correct version. This sucks
You may have better luck in the 9700 forum.
We had some issues with my wife's 9700 and the bridge icon not showing but it always installed.
At this point you may want to look into reloading the OS on the phone. I don't know how your BEST affects that.
