Can anyone lend some insight into why Appworld for PlayBook only works on wifi yet won't work while tethering (last time I tried) yet on my 9900 it only works on a mobile network and won't connect by wifi only?
I work in areas that have no mobile network coverage but we do have satellite internet broadcast over wifi and I have never been able to connect to Appworld in those settings. I just get a message stating that I do not have sufficient network wireless coverage. It's always kinda baffled me that on one device it works the exact opposite as the other. My 9700 and 9800s worked this way as well.
satelite yuck! silly question but have you tried it right near the router? im not familiar with satelite but have always heard the connection rate and speed is sub par, just from the few ive talked to that have it...
