    I just checked for a software update on the PB (habit perhaps) and low and behold there's a 3 MB 'Application update'. I checked appworrld and it doesnt show up as one of the thirdparty apps, so it must be one of the core applications. No change in the OS version though. Anyone know?

    No update here either. Most likely, you deleted one of the native apps that come with the os. The update just replaces the app.

    No update here either, could be something what justincase1911 mentioned.
    Or try a reboot and see if you still have the update showing.

    I got a similar update prompt this morning. Not sure what it does, but my OS now shows as 2.0.0.7971
