I picked up a 4g LTE playbook for my wife to replace her 64gb model. Managed to connect to the hotel Hotspot (I am on the road at the moment) and signed her in on the tabet.

Unfortunately, the only app it has installed is the stock browser...no blackberry world or anything else.

Does anyone know of a way I could download a copy of the appworld bar file directly to the playbook and get things installed on there without having access to a desktop or laptop computer?

umm.. you are suppose to see an update... go check for the update in setting.. if you don't find it I'm affraid you will need your computer

Yeah, I looked for an update and it said no update was available.

I downloaded some bars from the thread a few threads down and the sachesi zip onto the SD card of my passport and will install sachesi onto my desktop when I get home.

Does anyone have the appworld bar available to download?
