It seems that when one installs a converted Android calendar related app, that the app "can't find any calendars", as it searches for the native Android Google Calendar, and does not find it.
I am not a programmer, but it seems that an app could be created that, when left open , could create a conduit mapped to either the Playbook calendar or to an online Google calendar, enabling the converted calendar app to find it, recognize it and connect with it, as if it were that missing native android calendar.

The potential market for this app would be relatively large as it would be a prerequisite for anyone sideloading and using one of the many calendar related Android apps.

By calendar related, I mean any calendar, PIM, todo list that has any built-in connectivity with appointments and reminders.

If I am correct in my diagnosis, any takers?
