.... if there is still $199 unit available u will find them there.....and dont forget to do a google search also.
After u find one, either order online or call a store and pick it up there.

Or order online from BlackBerry and punish the lousy retailers for providing such poor support for the PlayBook. RIM could use the extra money that will go to them instead of the stores.

Find the coupon code that's floating around and pick it up for $10 less than the $199 too.

you can still order one from Sprint, even if you don't have an account. I just went through the whole check out procedure and it never asked for an acct. #. The nice thing is if you are a Sprint customer you have the option to have it added to your bill.

I ordered one from shopblackberry.com too on Thursday. I did receive a confirmation email but haven't received a shipping email yet. I tried to call them and there was no dial tone either. It seems a bit fishy. I just hope they ship it!! Or at least not charge me! But how will I know?

Seems very fishy to me as well. The odd thing with me is my credit card HAS been charged. Lucky you got a confirmation email!

I also read on the return policy and it says that you can only return unopened items. What if it doesn't work?

dtgrl22, "returning" an unopened item is what you do when you decide you didn't really want it.

If you get it, try to use it, and it simply doesn't function, then you make a quick support call and they either arrange a quick exchange, or open an RMA to let you return it under warranty for repair or replacement.

Yes, calling the blackberry support would be fine if you find the device damaged.
