    Love my PlayBook and still use it everyday, but the browsing experience is starting to getting a little more difficult even with Origami, etc. The feature I just can't live without though is browsing using the bridge through my Q5. No app to run, it is just seamless. Pick up the PB and it just works.

    Is there a viable alternative to this on a more modern tablet? Running a wifi hotspot kills the battery, so something over bluetooth would be ideal. Is this even possible?

    Blend is the best option. It's not officially available on the Q5 yet, but if you install one of the leaks available it works fine. Or you can wait since it's supposed to be available soonish.

    The only thing you lose with Blend is the Bluetooth connection and internet sharing. Blend works over Wi-fi and as far as I know doesn't have a bluetooth(please correct me on this if I'm wrong!)

    OP someone had a tablet / phone combo a while back.... the phone slipped into a slot in the back. But other than that a hotspot is the only option I know of. Would have really been nice to see a BB10 PlayBook bridged to a BB10 Phone.... maybe one day.
